Mountain bike school
100% Heart of Savoy

OUR STATE OF MIND

What a godsend! The Combe de Savoie is an ideal territory for mountain biking in a mountain environment.

Strategically based in Cruet, the school allows us to quickly reach many playgrounds for learning mountain biking.

Here, no one-to-one: inhabitants of Aiton, Sainte Hélène du Lac, Saint Pierre d'Albigny, Montmélian or the Chambéry basin, you are all welcome, whatever your level.

The engines that guide us throughout our sessions:

  • Skill and endurance

  • The pleasure of piloting and the taste for effort

  • Sharing and mutual aid

  • Commitment and control

  • Efficiency and safety

  • Freedom and respect

Children and young people are divided into 3 age groups:

Formule CLUB

 5-7 YEARS

KIDS

With the Kids, you will do a lot of handling workshops to gain confidence in your mount, on easy terrain. You will get to know your bike and learn how to take care of it. You will also learn the rules of circulation on the public highway, to evolve in complete safety while respecting other users!

A few short walks will enhance all this, during which we will learn to orient ourselves, discover the fauna, flora, heritage and geology of the area.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

Sessions on Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. from Cruet,

+ 3 or 4 Saturday outings from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. depending on the formula chosen.

We recommend a mountain bike at speed to have even more fun (strongly recommended if you are 6 years old or over, not essential if you are 5 years old), a helmet and a pair of gloves.

 8-10 YEARS

BIKERS

With the Bikers, you will still do a lot of technical workshops on moderately difficult terrain. You will begin to apprehend continuous descents and ascents. Take short hikes and browse your first singletracks  will be your goals.

You will learn to maintain your bike and to carry out small repairs.

On the program: mountain biking of course, but also orientation, discovery of the local fauna, flora, heritage and geology.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

Sessions on Wednesdays from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. from Cruet

+ 3 or 4 Saturday outings from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. depending on the formula chosen.

We recommend a semi-rigid speed mountain bike with minimum V-Brake type pad brakes (disc brakes are not yet essential but of course accepted), a helmet and a pair of gloves.

Bikers

 11-15 YEARS

RIDERS

With the Riders, rolling takes up more and more space and becomes the priority. The idea is to progress both physically and technically: we will tackle trails with increasingly varied and difficult slopes and surfaces. No worries: groups of levels will be formed and will be able to evolve.

The chain of kilometers and the choice of trails will be the real engine of your progress, sharp as a blade and agile like a cat, you will perhaps make short work of the adults you meet, both uphill and downhill. descent!

Over time, you will be the master of the outings and will be able to choose the sector according to the objectives of each session.

Your bike will no longer have any real secrets for you and you will learn how to adjust it wisely and make essential repairs. You will learn to take it apart to clean it or fine-tune its settings.

On the program: mountain biking of course, but also orientation, handling / trial, reconnaissance and development of new trails.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION

Sessions on Wednesdays from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. from Cruet

 + 6 or 8 Saturday outings from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. depending on the formula chosen.
